How do I book?
Do I have to pay for the LOVE all in one go?
Only if you want too, we appreciate the costs of planning a wedding as we’ve been there ourselves, so all we need is a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure the date of your event. We don’t need the rest until one month prior to the day, and we’ll send you a reminder email, so you don’t have to worry about trying to remember, you’ll have enough on your plate.
How big is the LOVE?
Our LOVE letters stand at 3ft 4“ high and approximately 9ft wide depending on how you have them styled. They are the perfect size to dazzle you guests on the dance floor in a large room or to nestle in smaller spots in beautiful country homes, or the sloping roofs of tee-pee’s, and they make the fantastic props to take memorable
pictures with.
Are you insured and PAT tested?
Yes, we are fully insured and PAT tested, our certificates are available on request.
Booking our light up LOVE couldn’t be easier you can contact us through our website or email us at alanas.lightup.love@gmail.com. We’ll check your celebration date is available and then send you an email with our terms and conditions, which also have our payment details included.
Can I move the letters around the venue?
Yes! The letters are lovely and light and can easily be moved around a venue providing the staff are happy to do this or we are close enough to pop in and do this for you. Some clients, especially at weddings, like to have them in the reception or drinks room and then move them on the dance floor in the evening.
Do you only do LOVE letters

How does the LOVE get delivered?
We deliver, install and collect the letters so you don’t have to worry about a thing. We will make all the arrangements with you or the venue before the event so on the day you don’t have to worry about a thing!
Where do you deliver, and do you charge?
We deliver up to 20 miles free of charge from Stroud, Gloucestershire but we do deliver up to 60 miles for a small additional charge. Once we know where your venue is, we can give you a quote for this.
What happens if I cancel my booking?
We understand that sometimes things don’t go to plan and you can cancel your booking, but your non-refundable deposit will not be returned to you. If you cancel the booking after one month until the late, then the whole amount will not be returned to you.
How long can I hire the LOVE for?
You can hire the LOVE for up to 24 hours, but if you need it for longer just let us know and we can discuss this with you.
What happens if the LOVE gets damaged?
We photograph the LOVE once it has been set up at every event. We do not require a damage deposit, but in the event of any damages to the letters we will notify you with an itemised bill and request payment within 4 weeks. Images will be sent of any damage.
Do you only do weddings?
No not at all our letters love to party no matter the event, whether it’s a wedding, anniversary to a birthday party or corporate event our letters would love to be there.
